The charity softball game between the West Chicago Fire Protection District and West Chicago Police Department was exciting; the score was 18-10, with a police department victory. West Chicago resident Juan Chavez threw the first pitch. proceeds from the game and pig roast benefitted Special Olympics Illinois.
