Lions Club Donation Provides More Food for the Buck

Lions Club President Frank Lenertz and member John Churillo present a $7,000 check to Ken Walker, local food pantry site manager. Through the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the pantry is able to purchase food at the price of around 16 to 18 cents a pound, such as a box of cereal for for 20 cents versus $3 at the store.
